Welcome To EOM New Membership Training
Introduction: On behalf of Chief Apostle LC Dunbar and the EOM Board of Directors, thank you for your interest in becoming a member of EOM International. We are honored to train you on the organization's Bylaws and Articles. The Bible states "in all thou getting get an understanding, Proverbs 4:7b"; therefore, it is imperative that all applicants learn and understand our beliefs and guidelines. EOM bylaws and articles are inline with the Bible; federal, state, and local laws. EOM International is a recognized 501 c3 organization established on June 10, 1991 in the state of Kentucky. Since then, we have relocated to Jacksonville, Florida along with our presiding bishop. This is a historical move to complete the final phases of the vision, which God has given Chief Apostle LC Dunbar. We are ready to except and consider your applications for membership. The acceptance and approval process could take up to three (3) to six (6) months. Therefore, we ask that you become an EOM associate to afford you and the EOM leadership to become acquainted; learning about each others goals and objectives for our future relationship in the ministry of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
Step of Procedures
Step 1: Download and fill out the application. You can mail your application or scan and email. Once we receive it, we will email you.
Step 2: Once we receive your application for membership, we will set a meet/greet in person or via conference call. We will ask you questions about you, family, service history, and ministry, (if you have one). These question are not to judge you, but to learn about you so that we can have a better understanding of who you are in Christ Jesus. You will also have the opportunity to ask us questions; we have nothing to hide. We will do our best to be transparent to everyone.
Step 3: We may require you to do a basic background check along with references from your former ministry leaders or other Christian believers.
Step 4: You must attend a new membership class, which will deal with our bylaws consisting our leadership structure and tenants of faith. You will be required to do some homework and sign documents stating that you understand each training session.
Step 5: You must appear in person before the board during one of EOM's international convocations where you and the EOM Board makes their final decision for membership.
Step 6: Attend the annual international convocation to be brought into fellowship by our presiding bishop.
Note: Depending on your relationship with another member of EOM, some of these requirements may be waived. We admit that we are new at doing this; therefore, forgive us if we make mistakes and make changes to benefit you and others during this process.
